Hi there! I'm Luiz, a Brazilian Associate Creative Director at AKQA NY.
I was born and bred in Petrópolis, a city in the state of Rio de Janeiro that has one of the highest scores in the Human Development Index but one of the lowest in the Advertising Agencies Index. So, in order to land my first ad job, moving to Rio de Janeiro was quite an easy decision.
Since then, advertising has been pretty nice to me: I've had the chance to work at top agencies worldwide, meet some incredibly talented people, lead projects for super cool clients, and win awards I've always dreamed about - which my mom has no idea about.

I'm very passionate about storytelling, design, and photography (you can check out my latest project here). Following the Brazilian stereotype, I’m also very into football, barbecue, and caipirinha. In fact, I’m sipping one right now. No joke.
